Rob Croll, TruePresence Area President in Orlando, Florida, has always been a believer in the power of marketing and advertising. In fact, helping businesses create an effective message for the marketplace was one of his earliest career goals. (After, that is, he realized that science classes were required to become a doctor.)
By way of a 20-year career in sales, client service and marketing, Rob joined the TruePresence family in 2005, and has finally been able to fully put his marketing passion to work. He says that, for the first time in his life, he’s truly excited to begin each and every workday.
In addition to helping clients find, get and keep customers online, Rob teaches an ‘Internet basics’ class for new business owners, speaks at conferences and events on a variety of Internet marketing topics, and has published several articles.

With all the talk this past week about Howard Schultz being reinstated as Chief Executive Officer of Starbucks it really got us thinking about the impact that Starbucks has had on the world, more specifically this country. While coffee houses have been popular in Europe for many decades, it was Starbucks that really exponentially grew the coffee shop experience here in the U.S.
Think about it - how many brands out there have had such an impact on the way we live? Starbucks is where we meet friends, hold business meetings, meet for the first “get to know you” date, and boot up our computers to work remotely in between stops. Not to mention it’s where you can add 600 calories to a calorie free coffee faster then you can say “I’ll have a Venti white chocolate Mocha Frappuccino with double whipped cream.” What’s even more amazing is that they do virtually no advertising.
If you’re like most marketers, you probably fantasize about transforming your brand into the Starbucks of your industry.
And we at at TruePresence are no different. Our vision is very much to become ”that brand” - that brand that every business will know and seek when they want to build THEIR brand. After all, that’s what TruePresence does - it helps businesses, of all sizes, in any industry, find, get and keep customers. When we tell people (and we tell anyone that will listen) our mission - they really get it.
